The Government of Ghana is committed to effective public service delivery, strengthening government accountability to its citizens, ensuring that policy formulation and decision making are based on evidence, and obtaining results in relation to its growth and development targets. To this end, the government has over the years committed significant resources to supporting a wide range of development interventions designed to improve the welfare of all people living in Ghana. It is, therefore, critical to know, through monitoring and evaluation (M&E), the extent of progress being made towards the objectives of interventions.
